Lawrence Myers

Lawrence has more than 10 years experience in Banking, Financial and Insurance services.  He began his career in California as a Marketing Associate with ARCS Mortgage, Inc., where he built loan pools and developed pricing models and reports for managing loans.

A year later, he moved onto Union Bank of California where he was named Vice President – Entertainment Division. During his seven years, he developed and managed a client portfolio with $80 million in loan balances, $30 million in deposits and tripled the net profitability. He was instrumental in moving business from competing institutions by developing a loyal executive network.

In 2001, Lawrence founded Myers Financial and Insurance Services. The company provides comprehensive financial planning services for business owners. As proprietor, Lawrence relies on existing and newly developed client relationships and referrals to build business. His keen networking ability and broad experience are assets that APC Executive Search clients and candidates rely on to achieve their objectives.

Lawrence has obtained series 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses, insurance licenses, and a Series 66 License. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University.

Lawrence  is active in the non-profit world, providing assistance to: ERAS Center/Partners for Children, Habitat for Humanity, Motion Picture & Television Fund Foundation, Malibu Little League, Malibu High Shark Fund and Malibu Boys and Girls Club.

Laura Clive

Laura comes to APC Executive Search with several years of direct recruiting experience while working for a staffing agency in Los Angles.  Having accomplished a number of personal milestones at her previous employer, Laura set her sights on working with clients and candidates she had become familiar with while growing up in London; commercial and investment bankers.  At APC Executive Search, Laura will be responsible for the recruitment of commercial bankers in Southern California for our clients targeting companies in the middle market and upper middle market. 

Prior to Laura’s becoming involved with the recruiting world she attended a prestigious drama school in South London where she majored in English Literature.  While in drama school the record industry reached out to Laura as a young singer to sign a contract with a major record label.  Young, industrious and driven Laura also took on the task of becoming a Pilates instructor and eventually opened her own business where she built a clientele of bankers, traders and lawyers. 

After moving to the States Laura kept up with Pilates training in her spare time but has left the drama and singing behind her.  Laura is now quickly devouring the recruiting world for commercial banks and would be happy to speak with you.
